Among the events scheduled for the weekend will be the Kirking of the Tartan, where clan tartans are presented for a church blessing.
This innovative tradition has become an integral part of many Scottish Festivals, and this will be the first time that the new Ewing Tartan has been presented to be “kirked.”
Beth Ewing Toscos and the EFA Clan Committee have rapidly swung into action to book our first ever clan tent and commission a banner, and to ensure a good Ewing presence at the event, including Karen Avery, Jane Weippert, Steve Ewing, Beth, her brother, John, his wife, Denise, and daughter, Chelsi. All and any extra bodies are very welcome to join us!
