CLAN EWING CEMETERY INFORMATION

TENNESSEE

ALLISON CEMETERY in Wilson County is now known as the EWING CEMETERY.

DIRECTIONS: Traveling on 266 between Lebanon and Lascasses south of Norene turn east on the road that goes to Greenvale and Statesville. When you get to where Greenvale was located, you turn south on the road to Milton. About a mile and quarter south after turning on that road, the cememtery is located in an overgrown field on the west side of the road. It is about a 100 yards or so west of the road.

It is believed that this cemetery is located on the land owned by William Allison. William Allison died in 1812, about four years after he purchased the land. It is believed he was buried in this family cemetery located on the property that he owned in Wilson County. There are about thirty graves marked with rocks without any other identification. It is also believed that his wife Margaret is buried in this cemetery as well as their son-in-law Thomas Allman.
