Sarah Tialiaferro1

b. 17 March 1803, d. 16 August 1891
  • Birth*: Sarah Tialiaferro was born on 17 March 1803 at Bourbon Co, Kentucky.1
  • Marriage*: She married an unknown person on 4 December 1823 at Stonelick Township, Clermont Co, Ohio.1
  • Death*: She died on 16 August 1891 at Jennings Co, Indiana, at age 88.1
  • Burial*: She is buried in the Stewart Cemetery, Jennings Co, Ohio.1
  • Married Name: Her married name was Ewing.1
  • Comment: She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Jennings Co, Indiana, for over 50 years.1
  • Comment: At about age two, she moved with her family to Clermont Co, Ohio.1
  • ResearchNote: Research Note: W. r. t. her death date, DNE says: What appears to be her Obituary has dates that do not compute. It says (on 27 July 1898) that she was born 17 Mar 1803, and died the 16th inst....being 95 years 9 months and 19 days of age. I assume that "16th inst." means 16 Jul 1898, but adding 95-9-19 to her date of birth gives 5 Jan 1899, and using 16 Jul 1989 as a true date of death gives 95 years 3 mo 29 days. I think the latter is probably correct, because the same obit gives her husband's duration of life as 90 years 9 months and 19 days--so maybe giving the possibility of a frame shift typo. On the other hand, using this duration for his life makes the dates I have for him not compute also.1

We speculate that these may have been relatives of Sarah.16
